Twitter introduces an audio-only feature on iOS and Periscope

As per Twitter, it also confirmed that this new feature which is currently available only on the Twitter app for the iOS as well as on Periscope which is for the time being.

Twitter has launched a new feature which will allow the users to create audio-only broadcasts that are directly from the Twitter itself and also in Periscope. The CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey has confirmed about this new feature in the morning which will be available for the same interface that can launch the live video.

Currently, the option of recording the video which is after the user tap “ Live.” In that, there is a button that you can tap to quick audio-only broadcast. This feature was seen in the beta testing in recent weeks. As per Jack’s tweet which is along with the mobile app that is updated log which indicates that it has now rolled out to all the users.

As per Twitter, it also confirmed that this new feature which is currently available only on the Twitter app for the iOS as well as on Periscope which is for the time being. It has not provided with a time frame for those when it will be reaching to the other platforms.

The users who will only be the one who is present can now able to record the audio, with all the users who are across the platforms. They can now able to see the recordings as well as can play them back.

This new feature has got some valuable things with times to the viewers. This will allow the people to share the live news on Twitter which is of audio-only in nature, can record the sharable mini-podcasts or can post something to the followers who have taken some longer than 280 characters in order to explain the posts to the followers.  The users can also see the number of the viewers who have to listen to the post with other metrics.
