Tragic news just came out recently as the 22-year-old granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy passed away on Thursday at the family compound in Hyannisport, Mass. The daughter of Courtney Kennedy Hill, Saoirse Kennedy Hill was a student of Bosten college, and she was a member of the class of 2020. She was the fifth of 11 children to the wife Ethel who was also a senator in New York.
The family broke their silence and addressed the press, “Our hearts are shattered by the loss of our beloved Saoirse. Her life was filled with hope, promise, and love. She cared deeply about friends and family, especially her mother Courtney, her father Paul, her stepmother Stephanie, and her grandmother Ethel.”
In the statement, Ethel was also quoted, “The world is a little less beautiful today. She lit up our lives with her love, her peals of laughter, and her generous spirit. Saoirse was passionately moved by the causes of human rights and women’s empowerment and found great joy in volunteer work, working alongside indigenous communities to build schools in Mexico. We will love her and miss her forever.”
The statements were made by Brian Wright O’Connor, a spokesman for Saoirse Hill’s uncle, former Massachusetts congressman Joseph P. Kennedy II. Talking about the history of the Kennedy family, Paul Michael Hill who was the father of Hill, was one of those men who were convicted by the Irish Republican Army bombings of two pubs in Guildford, England back in 1974, and that acquisition was false as he was framed in the crime.
According to Hyannis Fire Capt. Greg Dardia, the authorities were called at 28 Marchant Avenue. Hill was taken away to the hospital, and her condition was not specific. She got admitted in the Cape Cod Hospital. The place of death is not confirmed yet, and the authorities are looking into the matter.
